Founded in 1951, Liaoning University of technology is located in Jinzhou City. It is a provincial full-time multi-disciplinary university with the development of science, engineering, economics, management and culture. It has been selected as the key construction universities of the national "Midwest university basic capacity construction project", the National University practice education innovation and entrepreneurship base, the receiving universities of Chinese government scholarship for international students in China, the National University Innovation and entrepreneurship training plan, the first batch of pilot schools of Emergency Management College Construction, the first batch of Liaoning Province deepening innovation and entrepreneurship education reform demonstration universities, and the first batch of Liaoning Province Colleges and universities Flow discipline construction project.As of September 2019, the campus of Liaoning University of technology covers an area of more than 1000 mu, with a construction area of more than 630000 square meters, a construction area of 48000 square meters and a collection of more than 1.2 million documents. There are 21 teaching colleges, departments and centers, 10 first-class master's degree authorization points, 42 second-class master's degree authorization points, 12 professional degree authorization fields and 56 undergraduate majors. There are more than 1200 teaching staff, including 451 professors and associate professors.
