Nanjing Sport Institute, abbreviated as "Nanti", is located in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. It is a provincial sports undergraduate college that trains all kinds of Applied Sports Talents for the society. In 2017, the University became a provincial doctoral project construction unit in Jiangsu Province.The predecessor of the school is Nanjing sports school, which was founded in 1956. In 1958, it merged with Jiangsu Sports cadre training class and Jiangsu normal university sports specialty to establish Nanjing Sports University.As of July 2016, the school covers an area of more than 600 mu, with 8 teaching units and 657 teaching staff, including 256 full-time teachers and 3762 full-time students. There are 10 undergraduate majors and 3 specialized majors.
