Zhejiang Wanli University The University, located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, is a provincial undergraduate university mainly organized by Zhejiang Wanli Education Group and approved by the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China. It is a new type of university approved by the Ministry of education as a "new management mode and operation mechanism for public universities". It is a pilot unit of master's degree education and a provincial master's project construction unit , the first member of UNESCO China Entrepreneurship Education Alliance, the first batch of members of entrepreneurship education professional Steering Committee of the Ministry of education, the national innovation and entrepreneurship education reform demonstration universities, Zhejiang application-oriented construction pilot demonstration schools, Zhejiang entrepreneurship University pilot universities, CDIO Engineering Education Alliance member units.The history of Zhejiang Wanli University can be traced back to Ningbo Agricultural Technical school, which was founded in 1950. It has experienced the development stages of Ningbo Branch of Zhejiang Agricultural University and Zhejiang Rural Technical Teachers College. Zhejiang Wanli College of rural education and technology was renamed Zhejiang Wanli College of rural education and technology in 1999 and Zhejiang Wanli College of rural education and technology in 2002.According to the official website of the University in May 2020, the university has set up Qianhu, Huilong, Hamburg and other campuses, covering an area of 1687 Mu and a construction area of 650000 square meters; it has 13 secondary colleges, 51 undergraduate majors and 2 professional master's degree programs; it has more than 1400 Teaching staff, and more than 20000 full-time undergraduates, postgraduates and international students.
