Henan Communications vocational and technical college is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by Henan provincial government and put on record by the Ministry of education. It is a national high-quality higher vocational college project construction school, a brand Demonstration College of Vocational Education in Henan Province, and the first pilot college for training non commissioned officers in Henan Province.The predecessor of the college is the cadre training class of Henan Provincial Department of transportation, which was founded in 1953. It has gone through the stages of Henan provincial transportation cadre school, Zhengzhou Transportation College and Henan transportation school. In 2004, it was independently upgraded to Henan Transportation Vocational and technical college with the approval of Henan Provincial people's government.According to the official website of the school in February 2019, the school covers an area of 1086 mu, with a total teaching equipment value of 160 million yuan, 8 departments and 3 teaching departments, 45 Higher Vocational Majors, 775 teaching staff and more than 13800 full-time students.
