Wuyi University, located in Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, is a multidisciplinary university with engineering as the main subject. In 1990, it became a bachelor's degree awarding unit. In 1996, it became a qualified undergraduate teaching unit. In 1998, it became a master's degree awarding unit.
