In 2011, the school entered the new campus of Longgang Universiade village, and in 2016, Shenzhen Information Technology Co., Ltd. plans to build a branch in Shanwei City (Shenzhen Shantou Special Cooperation Zone).According to the school's official website in January 2017, the school covers an area of 926000 square meters (1389 mu), with a construction area of 588600 square meters, a total value of teaching and scientific research equipment of 247 million yuan, a library collection of 1266000 books, nine secondary colleges, 45 specialties and 14584 full-time students. In December, 2019, the school was listed in the second category by the Ministry of finance.
