Anshun University, located in Anshun City, Guizhou Province, is a full-time general undergraduate comprehensive university approved by the Ministry of education in February 2006.The school running history can be traced back to Qianjiang normal school established in 1938. It has gone through the development stages of Qianjiang normal school, Qianjiang middle school, provincial Anshun normal school and Anshun normal college, and has a history of nearly 80 years. In 2006, approved by the Ministry of education, Anshun University was upgraded to undergraduate level.According to the school's official website in June 2016, the school has three campuses, with the west campus as the main campus, covering an area of more than 1011 mu, teaching and administrative rooms of 108800 square meters, student dormitories of 50100 square meters, a collection of more than 530000 paper books, teaching and scientific research equipment of 37.6112 million yuan, and a total number of 657 teachers. There are 37 undergraduate colleges, 16 teaching and research departments, and 16 secondary specialties. There are 6935 full-time undergraduate students.
