Xijing university is a high-level private university with postgraduate education qualification, located in Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province. In 2005, it was upgraded to an undergraduate university and named "Xijing university". In 2009, it obtained the right to confer bachelor's degree, and in 2011, it obtained the qualification of professional degree postgraduate education. In February 2018, it became the first-class private university construction unit in Shaanxi Province.The university is one of the first batch of five private colleges and universities in China that have obtained the master's degree education specialty. In May 2018, according to the school's official website, the school has five professional master's degree authorization points, covering an area of nearly 1400 Mu and a construction area of more than 600000 square meters. In the long-term development process, it has formed three major clusters: Engineering represented by mechanical engineering, control engineering and civil engineering, modern service represented by accounting and e-commerce, and art design represented by industrial design and visual communication.
